The road home always includes a 13 Km stretch of dirt road which takes us about a half hour to navigate

Just after the turn off at Muyobe one encounters a dry river bed with a steep hill leading to this small concrete bridge

On our way home from Livingstone to drop of our daughter for her flight back to the US, we encountered a long line of cars

We have been praying for rain. The dry river bed was flowing after the heavy rains. We arrived at 6 and I am told the river final receeded at 10:30 enough for cars to pass

Fortunately colleagues of ours were also there and guided us on an alternative route through the brush (only a one hour detour)

A beautifully sunset capped off our adventure and trek through the brush. We arrive safely at home by 7:30.
