Yes, we did celebrate Thanksgiving

While Thanksgiving is not a recognized holiday in Zambia, we were able to get together  with other expatriates to celebrate

We had a blessed time of giving thanks with fellow Christians at New Day Orphanage    We enjoyed all the usual fixings from dressing to pumpkin pie. Although we did substitute some village chickens for a turkey  (we have some here but they are a bit tough)A pot luck was a great way to spend Friday evening with our fellow expatriates from around the world      Enjoying fellowship with Canadians, British, Dutch, and North Americans
